The hotel had a great pool to entertain the children and it was located very close to many restaurants and businesses, making shopping and dining simple and painless. The beds we're very comfortable.
The sink drain took ten minutes to drain. The tub drain sometimes didn't completely drain or didn't drain at all from the previous person's shower.
Ample parking next to and part of the hotel.

The bidding process resulted in a great price on a festival weekend and staff prioritized our staying an additional night (at a higher rate), despite an over-booked situation.
This older hotel, beautifully remodeled about 2004, had older plumbing. Our tub did not drain properly. I'm sure that the maintenance staff will do what they can.
We loved staying here! If your trip to New Orleans focuses on the Garden District, Uptown, or the universities, The Landmark Best Western is really convenient, just off Veteran's Boulevard near Causeway and close to I-10. The firm beds were extremely comfortable, and you can't beat free garage parking. Our room had a refrigerator, but no minibar, and we did not try the café or restaurant. ...

Close to the city.
It was difficult to navigate to the hotel from the main road. Coffee in the morning was not FREE!
No park and ride to the cruise line.

Room on 7th floor yet still noisy.
Good rate if you need to be in heart of Metairie . A little creepy hallways some strange people roaming around.
