Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Placerville Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Manager charged me $30 a night more than all the people in my group. He says I called 4 days later than deadline. There was nothing of a deadline in my information I was given. Also, paid $40 a night for 2 very small dogs. Will not go back.

The beds are extremely comfortable
The price for this hotel is ridicilous ... they want xxx a night for a two star hotel and the best I could get on Priceline was xxx a night, but you have to pay a fee with the taxes, so it wasn't much better.

The location is the only thing this place had going for it that I liked.
Horrible staff. They were totally disconnected from actually helping their guests have a restful stay. I felt horrible everytime I dealt with them. The walls are also way too thin at this hotel.nothing at the breakfast was healthy to eat - no fresh fruit.

The Jacuzzi, and convenience to fairgrounds.
It could use an update.

I would recommend and stay there again, but it's a decent hotel, and wouldn't say it blows away, but it met my expectations.

It is located in a perfect area for Apple Hill.
The hotel charged me for my room as well as Priceline. I could not bring up my confirmation on my phone to prove that I was already charged. The worker told me that I hadn't so she ran my card.

Great location and good hotel, however we my try somewhere else for less. The breakfast was good and the staff was nice.

Convenient location, good restaurant next door, appeared clean with everything in working order.
Staff that greeted was short on explanations regarding where to park, where to dine, food available for early departure, etc.

Okay for a 2 or 2.5 star hotel; clean and spacious. Needs at least a second chair at the table in our unit. Could use a little remodeling such as sinks and counter tops; also it was very tight getting into the bathroom by passing between a second sink and a closet! At breakfast, no one told us there were more food choices in the dining room besides what was offered on the counter in the lobby. It was too dark at 6 am to even see in the dining room which was very dimly light. ...read more
