Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Regency House Hotel

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

I didn't like anything aside from the breakfast buffet. My expectations were not met by the staff or facility.
I was placed in a smoking room with a window open on a cold night (I wasn't even asked or told I was on a smoking floor and I am allergic to smoke). The room I eventually switched to was drab and a bit dirty. The pillows were small and hurt my neck.

I would tell anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere. The facility is dated, the staff is borderline deceptive and the rooms are not not very nice or clean. The 3 star rating is not deserved. The bed was not comfortable and the pillows were small and hard. I have slept on a more comfortable couch. However, on the bright side I did receive a complimentary newspaper and the breakfast buffet was decent, although the facility was drab and dated. ...read more

The noise level from the activities(Music) in the hotel would keep us up later than planned but the noise in the hallway outside our room after the activities were over would have us up until after 3 am.

We stayed for 2 nights for a family christening weekend of events. As much as we liked the room itself & we were thrilled about the location in reference to our daughter's home for visiting, I doubt we would stay there again. Our son had the same noise problem on Saturday night. He complained that night & staff did try to quiet things down for them but the noise continued after staff left the hallway. ...read more

the location of the hotel worked for where we needed to be.
the bed as broken - sloped in the middle and made loud noises. there was a wedding going on with many of the guests from the wedding staying near our room... it was loud to say the least - hotel security was called but there was little they could do...

When I finally got settled in a room, it was great! Breakfast was perfect and the location was right where I needed it to be!
Getting to my room was an adventure. First I was given a room that was not cleaned and smelled awful. When I did get a room, the key didn't work, so I had to go back and forth a few times. This was probably a rare occurrence though.

Really loved my experience here overall. Pretty helpful staff and excellent location. Also, delicious breakfast.

The staff was great, specifically Kayla who straightened out some issues with the room reservations. The maintenance man Angel assisted in moving our bags from the lobby to the second floor without even asking. Very friendly.
The only complaint was that the spa bath did not work and there were some minor cleanliness issues with the shower / tub having some mildew along the tub seems and in the spa jets. The exterior security doors which should lock after 8:00 PM did not work.

We did not try the buffet breakfast as we elected to go out to eat. The exterior security doors which are located in front and back of the long wing where the rooms are located, are supposed to lock automatically between 8:00PM and 6:00AM only to be accessed by room key cards, did not work. Given the apparent transient traffic, multiple truck drivers coming in on quick over nighters, this should be addressed. However, overall it was a good experience and we will stay there again. ...read more

A very nice clean hotel. Good breakfast. Easy to miss the driveway entrance on 23 West at night, and it's a bit of a hassle to circle back.

The sliding door separating the suite, and the tub in room
The staff was unhelpful.

The hotel itself is not bad. The fitness center was "out of order", though. However, the staff was not great. I had a problem at check in where the wrong # of guests were booked into the room and we did not get enough breakfast vouchers. They would not give us extra when I explained that we actually have 5 people and that I do not know why only 2 went through. They did not charge us for the extra persons, but they also did not tell us that you don't actually need the vouchers on the weekend for the breakfast. We went through 3 hotel staff before they told us that! I was very upset with the level of communication. ...read more
