The location of this hotel is perfect for spending a night on the town. You can get anywhere downtown, and crawl back if you had to.

This hotel is a great location for exploring Durango. The best way to enjoy the town is on foot, and this hotel makes that very easy.The staff was amazing. They were all very friendly. They all really seemed to enjoy their jobs. I will say Durango as a whole has very friendly people if you treat them with respect. What a relief in a touristy area.The hotel is older, but very clean. It is obvious that this hotel was built before the recent trend to throw a hotel up over night. The rooms have classic styling with quality materials. Maintenance seemed to be top notch.Breakfast was amazing. The staff really seems to care about the food prep and cleaning the area. There is a variety of food to choose from too.This was our second overnight visit to Durango, and it won't be our last visit. Location is the best thing about this hotel, it is tucked away just on the edge of downtown Durango. Within walking distance to dining, movies, and shopping. Price is average for a 2.5 rated hotel. Well worth your time and money.

Had no problems, staff was very friendly, location very good, room clean.

Downtown was so close by and you can walk to many restaurants as well. Even though my room was poolside, we generally did not hear people. We could open our windows for fresh air. Two drinks per person were so nice and what set this hotel apart from the other hotels in my search. Plenty of options for breakfast! Everything was great! Just need to clean the carpet. The Hotel is tucked away on the West Side of Downtown Durango, convenient walking distance to many great restaurants, shops and sights. My reservation was ready when I arrived and checked in with no problems. The room was very clean and after a 7-day mountain bike excursion, the bed was very comfortable. There were not a lot of amenities, but that has never been what I look for in a hotel, so this place was great. They offered my traveling partner and I two complimentary beverages at happy hour and complimentary breakfast which was nice. The pool looked very clean although I was too tired to try it out. The rooms were nice and we liked the layout of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and even let us change rooms to one with a better view. Plus free drinks in the evening.

We enjoyed our visit. The breakfast room does fill up with the large # of people either catching their tour bus, or getting ready to catch the train, so show up early, or plan on eating in your room. The hot tub is a nice place to relax after a day of outdoor activity. There are many restaurants within walking distance.
