Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus Rockwall Inn & Suites

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Hard getting in and out of hotel with one of the lanes closed by the front entrance.

The staff worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed.
The breakfast was the poorest we have seen. All microwaved food out of boxes. Not attractive.

I think for the money we spent, we would return again, but with the disappointing breakfast, we might check-out other hotels in the area with the same stars. All of the ready made microwave type foods was not healthy or appetizing. Waffle maker would have been a nice addition, fresh fruit sliced and in a covered bowl on ice. Just a few things to make it more attractive. Hard boiled eggs for those wanting the real egg, not the fake egg parties. Maybe some breakfast breads as in cranberry bread or banana bread instead of muffins. ...read more

The rooms were beautiful and the pool, although I didn't use it, was very pretty to look at.
Only one elevator for hotel. Slow.

Excellent room for the price. Perfect, inexpensive, yet very nice, place to stay while visiting in the area. Centrally located.

The hostess for breakfast was AWESOME, caring, sweet, and so gracious. She put the "Best" in this Best Western hotel, to be sure!
The beds were a bit softer than I expected. Possibly a bit over used?

Good response when I asked for 2 beds - they already had reserved a King room for us, but we needed room for 4 guests. Some hotels have begun to fuss when you get a priceline room and ask for a 2-bed room. We really appreciated that! The reservation clerk changed our room with a smile.

Newly remodeled lobby with nice flat screen TVs in the rooms.
Location was hard to get to and the parking lot was small.

Overall a great little place to stay. The hotel had recently had a makeover and some renovations. The beds were pretty comfortable and the TVs were good. The location and small parking lot would be my only complaints, but overall a great little place to stay.

Everything was just wonderful! Staff was great as well!
I like everything except the dealership light in the window but the shades took cake of that.

The morning was the best time you wake up to the most sweet lady doing the breakfast. She would make sure that everything was there for you and if she had anything that was out for you she would get it. The rooms where clean and had space to move around also the pool was a plus. The Kids loved it as I love the hot tub!

Clean rooms and bathrooms.
Was a bit noisy on the first floor; would request higher floor next time.

Nice, and clean hotel. Comfortable beds and nice size TV. Looked like it had been recently remodeled and updated. Appreciated having a small refrigerator and microwave.

Hotel Room was clean and updated. Better than I had expected. Breakfast was good and staff was really nice.
The hotel is right next to the hwy and a truckers gas station..you could hear lots of noise all night from the trucks coming and going.

Staff
were nice and helpful.
Cockroaches!

Wireless Internet was less than impressive and they do NOT have wired connections in the room. They removed those with the remodel. We were unable to use our Roku box because their Internet blocked it. Also there were cockroaches and baby lizards in our room. It was surreal. The cockroach was 1.5 inches long. I guess you could say it was Texas sized. I noticed along the side of the wall cockroach sheddings. GROSS! We had two rooms and both had food on the floor when we got in them. When we put our towels on the floor for fresh towels they would just fold them and put them back on the shelf. Disgusting! The pool heater was broken and it was ice cold even in the middle of summer. On the positive Paula in the dining room and Cheree at the front were most helpful and kind. Also, the location was great. The beds were super comfortable but honestly, after seeing the cockroaches we couldn't sleep. ...read more

It was close to Shopping , Restaurants, Costco, Vehicle Dealers

It, was very nice, and the Staff Excellent, Rooms were kept clean. One must have a Car , as You cannot get to the Shopping Areas, as they are across Interstate 30, and there is no Public Transport. Rockwall Texas and surrounding Counties are (DRY), there is only 1 Liquor store in the Area and it is a Private one and The Staff are very friendly.
