Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus San Diego/Miramar Hotel
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 5, 2013

It was not a 2 star hotel. Very rough guests, very noisy, many people outside smoking, the people in the next room were smoking in their room, the parking lot was full of trucks, under the flight path. I felt unsafe and would not leave my room.

Check in was painless and prompt which a very convenient located room. I had issues with my key not working to get into my room once during day 2 & 3 of my stay, but getting it reactivated was easy enough. Parking was convenient, both in the parking lot and one the street. Besides minor, fixable problems (fridge was unplugged, turntable from microwave was missing, some hairs were missed in the tub), the only irritation I had was with the weak WiFi signal. ...

This was not a fancy Sheraton, you can do much better paying for a 3 1/2 star hotel. They charge $26 per day parking + $11.95 per day for Internet access. The gym is below par (small), and its more like a 2 1/2 star hotel in my opinion, they should advertise it as such.

When I looked in the microwave, there was someones meal left in it.the toilet bowl was not brushed/cleaned.the in room coffee maker had the wrong coffee pot. would not let the brewed coffee drain into the pot. The night clerk brought another coffee pot, but it to was the wrong one.The front desk staff was very interested in being helpful. very personable.

Nice clean room. Includes fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. Met all my expectations especially for the price range.

close to highway.
Nice/decent place and
clean rooms. Had a jacuzzi and pool that weren't scum filled, with a courtyard aspect, slightly secluded. Free breakfast hit the spot (you can make your own waffles!) although some of the oranges looked like they'd been there awhile. Friendly staff who also put up with me after, I failed to spray the waffle iron with no-stick and they had to pry the remains out. Easy access to highway. ...
