Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Plus St. Charles Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.December 29, 2012

They have the best rate for a pet friendly hotel and a major plus is FREE PARKING!

Facility, rooms were clean and well kept. Parking was fantastic. I cannot say enough about the staff; they were friendly, helpful, and new enough about the city to suggest places to visit and eat. If you are planning to go to New Orleans try staying here, your a block away from the Trolley stop which will take you to the French Quarter or the River Walk. It was great!

Everything was easy here - check-in, check-out. Nice room, friendly, helpful staff, nearby off-premise parking, central location between downtown (French Quarter) and uptown (Audubon Park/universities) on beautiful St. Charles Avenue with its streetcar line. No problem.

Nice smaller size hotel located in the Garden District located at the end of the trolley car route. Not far from city bus. Rooms have microwaves and mini refrigerators. Free gated parking which is nice. Must be an older hotel because the floors are not even. Breakfast was great the 1st morning we stayed there, but the other 2 mornings were not as good with variety. Must depend on which staff is working. Had ants in the 1st room we walked in and requested another room which they did without any problems. Hotel hallways & rooms smelled strong of musty odor. Tried to solve with buying air fresheners. The beds were very uncomfortable and everyone woke up feeling sore. New mattresses and de-humidifier system in hotel would go a long way. Layout of hotel room was smart with a bathroom and then a separate sink with mirror on the other side of room where you walk in. Makes getting ready easier when you are not on top of each other. Overall, it is a nice little hotel with very friendly staff. Just needs new beds & de-humidifiers to make it an awesome little place. ...
