When I arrived late, all non-smoking rooms were taken, going to another hotel was not an option. When I stepped off the elevator on the smoking floor (3rd), the place smelled immediately of smoke. The bedspread in my room had burn in it. There was hair in the bath area not cleaned out from previous guest.

In spite of being the only place to stay in this town - it's very nice, but the broken coffee and almost no continental breakfast was disappointing. Thankfully we were attending a conference where coffee and fruit was being served.

The Best Western Wylie would be completely appropriate for the typical business traveler, who will not require dining or who plans to eat elsewhere.

Senior Travelers
Other than the construction on the highway which made access to the motel difficult the motel and staff were fairly good. For some reason we kept getting locked out of the room due to the card keys and had to go to the lobby several times to have the keys updated! But it was all good!

Average to slightly above, not nearly as good as the BW in Lufkin. The breakfast nothing to speak of, breakfast in Lufkin is excellent.
