Hotel Guest Reviews of the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The atmosphere was great... Nice size hot tub and rooms had a lot of room in them. Breakfast was the greatest with the ability to make your own waffles and cereal and fruit. There were even llamas to feed for the kids. !!! It was great.
The pool was closed!!! Really sad.

The best place in sisters to stay!!! With the microwaves and mini fridges in your room .... You can do just about any thing u choose.

the hotel was great. the rooms were decent sized and the vaulted ceilings added to the spacious feel. We brought children and they really enjoyed feeding the laamas. the outdoor, covered hottub was great, much better than breathing the humid chlorine air in an indoor pool area. the staff were very friendly and welcoming. the only thing I wished I had known was the pillows were horrible. the beds were nice though. Overall a great little getaway. ...read more

Tile on floors in room.
When I called night before to learn about major fire 6 miles away, office person was very ignorant.

Comfortable beds and a clean room.
Television and related technology was a bit antiquated but served its purpose.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff and a location close to many local trail heads we had an interest in visiting. The price was right for what we got and we would definitely stay here again.

How close it was to the ski resort and resturants.
They allowed a dog sled team to stay at the hotel while we were there and we heard barking dogs all night long.

Kids liked the llamas and DVD library. I liked the helpful/friendly staff, and comfortable room.
HVAC system short cycled all night. Apparently it designed that way to prevent it from freezing in winter.

It was a very nice BW that is far enough off the highway and up against some forest land which makes for a nice place to walk the dogs. Bed was comfortable and room decore was Log cabin themed. Hot tub was roomy. Breakfast offered a great assortment. The DVD library in the lobby was a highlight for the kids as well as the llamas that border the property. The kids want to come back in summer when the pool is open. ...read more

It was nice and clean
How the fridge and micro were placed. Could be in an entertainment center hidden. Bring own shampoo and conditioner

I liked the hotel and would stay the again for the price we got it for on Priceline
