Best Western Plus Robert Treat Hotel

Once arrived at hotel, the service and accommodations were fine. Very frustrating waiting for hotel shuttle driver to pick up from airport for 1.5 hrs, despite several calls to hotel. Was told 'shuttle was on the way'. Another couple with reservations at hotel also waited. When tried to cancel after 1 hr of frustration, found out this was a no-cancel reservation. Though it's central location was appealing, the hotel is very outdated and the rooms are a bit on the small side. For a 3.5 star hotel and the price I expected much more pizazz and appeal but it was a definitely dud. I stayed there because the conference I was partaking in was location there as well. Service is decent but again it looks like bologna trying to pass for steak.

Nice location vs. price comparing to other NYC hotels. 15 min walking to Newark Penn, where a 22-min PATH takes you directly to WTC. nice view from higher floor. Stayed in this hotel years ago and this time i felt improvements.

This hotel was very clean and the staff was wonderfully friendly, courteous and helpful.

It's okay for the price. The staff was nice. The restaurant was okay, but the server was slow and we had to hunt him down to get our check.

I was impressed with the quality given the price. The courtesy shuttle to/from Newark Penn Station was very nice and responded quickly to our call. The room, lobby, etc. were clean and the housekeeping staff did a super job.

The hotel was a bit shabby, but okay, the room I stayed in was very noisy, and there was nothing the hotel could do to help me. I asked, but the answer was the noise could not be eliminated.
