Very nice room and great location. Beautiful public lobby, good bathroom and beautiful balcony.
The staff is very limited and was not at all responsive when there is a problem. We were told that there was no manager in the hotel for the three days we were there. The included continental breakfast is really lousy.

My room was not cleaned the first day. My teenaged son was awakened by the maid and asked that she come back later. She then assumed he gave permission not to clean the room at all. When we asked for them to return a bit later in the afternoon, they could not. No manager in the hotel for 3 days. The staff was argumentative and did not offer anything to compensate for the lack of cleaning. The manager called me for the first time after I returned home (4 days after the cleaning problem) to give me more explanations about why the room had not been cleaned and still offered nothing but more arguing.... Convenience to French Quarter and historical feel of renovations, including high ceilings.
Breakfast could have been a little better.

The hotel was a lovely, updated boutique hotel. Our room was a generous size and had all the amenities we needed.
