The staff was exceedingly interested in providing a good experience. They opened recently and want to make their hostel into a successful operation.
The rooms are shared (hostel), and the bathrooms are shared and fairly primitive. Great service.

This is a good place to stay for college aged travelers or people who are interested in basic accommodations. The location is good, but the park next door has a bar alongside and can sometimes be loud (nothing unusual about this in the Amazon). The proprietors were very interested in providing a great experience, and I expect they will work out all the kinks very soon.
