Hotel Guest Reviews of the Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 5, 2013

Only book through Priceline if you're flexible! The hotel has 4-5 different areas (Tower, Beach Club, Cloisters, etc.) and you will not be told where you will be when you use Priceline. After making the reservation, I called the hotel to request a King bed - I didn't care what area we ended up in, that was my only preference. On our way to the hotel, we had no idea where to go since you're not told what area you'll be staying. We went to the Tower, where the helpful gate guard told us we were at the Beach Club. Twenty minutes later, we were finally at the Beach Club (the drawbridge on that road takes forever!) The staff at the front desk was very friendly, but when we reached our room, we found we had two full beds instead of a king! I went back out to the front desk where I was told that we were "upgraded" from the Tower, and that while they can see I requested a king, they couldn't guarantee requests and there was nothing else they could give me. She even had the nerve to offhandedly suggest we just push the beds together (no, it is not possible to do this.) I just thinking that since she could see I requested a king bed and that's not what I was getting, it would have been nice to give me the heads up at check-in. The room itself was nice, although we were on the main floor (3rd floor) and our view was of the parking garage. I can't see them giving any of the rooms on that floor on that side to anyone paying full price, they would not be worth the money! The pool area was beautiful, and we had good service at all the hotel restaurants. The valet fee I think is exorbitant, but at least they didn't charge me the so-called "activity fee" (maybe because we only booked one night?) which is good because there is no mention of it on Priceline when booking. Overall, just understand that where you land in the hotel will be a crapshoot, but if you're flexible, booking through Priceline (especially name your own price) will save you tons. ...

We went through .com and we were excited to get this hotel... We have spent many nights in this area due to the college there. I was expecting a 4 star hotel, we got a 2 star hotel. We first began in the bungalows which are "like apartments for long term stays," is what we were told. The hotel put us next to a family with a baby which cried throughout the night and kept us up. The walls were so thin by the end of the night I could tell you everyone's name in the next room over. We got very little sleep and asked to change rooms the next day... They told us when the first king size bed came available we would be call on our cell phone to return to the hotel. We never received a call... we came back around 6:00 to ask about our room and they had held a new room for us. This room at first appearance was beautiful until I entered the bathroom... yuck! The desk drawer was broken, the paint on the door was peeling and sad. For all of my excitement I will never return to this hotel again. Not for full price or for priceline.com's price...4 Star Hotel... I think not...I give this a Big Disappointment. ...

The previous time we stayed there were multiple issues, and management did a great job of trying to make everything perfect. This time our stay was flawless... Which is what I expect. I stay here everytime I am in the Boca Area.

Complementary parking (in the bungaloes) is definitely a plus, the shuttle is great - goes every 20-30 minutes to the beach and back during the day. The room was clean, they provided plenty of towels including on the beach(no need to bring yours). The room was equipped with a coffee/tea maker and a refrigerator, but there were no microwave. The restaurants in the area seemed a little overpriced, but there was a big Whole Foods store (a 15 min drive away) with lots of hot a-la homemade (and other)food. Great place for the family vacations! ...

I will stay again for a longer period. I stayed in the bungalows, which I would do again, if just to avoid the valet service. Very unprofessional and pushy. Overall great experience.

Well we liked the hotel and the staff- we did have problems 1 we had to have housekeeping and scrub the sticky stuff from the top of bathtub. 2 I couldn't go to sleep until 1:30 am waiting for maintenance to get the commode working right. They don't use hotel type power flushers. They don't provide a refrig to keep things cold only room for their items The big one is they allowed a guest to jump in my car and use it for 10.5 hours. This was a gap in their security. I did file a police report. Considering that my day was screwed up, I felt violated, do you think getting me a rental and some food ( oh yes they took $27.99 off my bill for one day's parking and thanked me for not losing it.) Somehow I don't think I was taken care of properly. ...

If this property is within your budget, it is a must stay - there are very few properties, with all the amenities offered. This is a luxury resort with a great deal to offer.

THIS WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! When I got notice this is the hotel we were staying at I was very excited. We showed up and from the time we checked in and we mentioned we used priceline.com we were treated like "less" important person. They put us in an area called the "Bungalows" and it was simply the area for people looking for a deal. The cable tv was 4 channels for the resort and 8 channels of other stuff.(but we were not there for the TV so whatever) there is a $20+ parking fee everyday if you park on site and a $22+ fee for "resort fees" yet they still charge for every "Resort" things you do. I was SOOOOO disappointed with this stay. No included breakfast and all areas onsite to buy food are over priced. I will not recommend this hotel to others unless they have tons of money to toss away. Sure I got my room at a great rate but would have rather that I pay a little more for what was offered. Its almost like they have a special area for Priceline guests. ...
