Hotel Guest Reviews of the Boston Hotel Buckminster
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

Very clean rooms and common areas. I wish the continental breakfast had a little more protein. Although the rooms are not large, they are fine for the traveler who is not going to spend all day inside. The location is good as there are good restaurants within walking distance. It's close to Berklee College of Music. It is safe and secure for a woman traveling along. The prices are very reasonable. ...

The hotel is located next door to Fenway Park on Beacon Street. In my opinion Boston is a compact city where many people walk where ever they wish to go. If you are in a rush both the transit and taxis are available. The city is easy to navigate in these three methods. Keep your car in the lot. Parking can be difficult to find and expensive. If I were traveling again to just take in the city, I would leave the car at home. ...

This is obviously an old hotel, but it is in very good condition. Athough I had just reserved a regular room, I was also given a sitting room with a very comfortable sofa and a small dining table. The rooms were rather large as well as clean and bright. Wireless available in the room. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful in terms of suggesting things to see in Boston and showing me how to get there. The hotel is located near Fenway Park in a good location close to a major T (Metro) station. I had read one review that said this hotel should be ranked higher than two stars and I would agree with this. Even without the Priceline discount, this hotel is also less expensive than most Boston hotels - an excellent buy for the money. ...

We had absolutely no problems at all while staying at the hotel. Room was what we expected. It was clean, comfy, and worked well for our stay.

This is THE place to stay if you're in town for the Red Sox and/or visiting colleges. It's really close to the Kenmore T station where the B,C, and D on the green line stop. I would definitely stay here again.

Be aware that there is no restaurant or room service available at this hotel. Otherwise, the location is unbeatable (2 min walk from Subway station - 10 min walk from Fenway park).

For the location and the price, one of the best deals I've had. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. And it can't be beaten in terms of proximity to Fenway park - great views even from your room!

The room had a great view of Fenway. The room was a good size and had a nice size closet. I loved the old history of the hotel. It was within walking of a subway station. We would recommend the hotel to our friends and will stay there again.
