Hotel Guest Reviews of the Budget Inn Charlotte
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 27, 2013

dont stay at this hotel for safety reason

My advise is to perhaps call the hotel, ask about the location and security. Double check the amenities and if everything is in working order. Maybe even call the local law enforcement; ask them about the area. The location was not safe, there were noises outside keeping me up at night. They advertised microwave and refridgerators; there wer NONE. The channel selection on the TV was awful. The volume on the TV was unreliable. The sink was cracked. The toilet needed flushed twice after each use. ...

This is an excellent hotel. Hotel keeping was prompt. Ambiance is quiet. Cheap rates.

If you need a simple, basic room--this is perfect. Nothing fancy. I was pleasantly surprised there was cable TV. I'm glad there are options like this that is a good price and fair to travelers.

Room looked recently renovated, clean. Hotel hard to find. Soap and shampoo OK. Total experience much more than expected for price.

this isn't the nicest hotel and it's in a sketchy area. but it is the cheapest and the bed is comfy so i stay here often. another pro is that the internet works well. those are the most important things to me so this hotel, while not fancy to say the least, gets the job done for the low rate.

Overall was a good Hotel for the price. It was a mile from a train station that took you into downtown Charlotte which saved me money on parking and all that good stuff. At night, though, there was a few loiters outside that were talking most of the night

This "motel" brought new meaning to roach motel, I felt like I was in a horror movie and the room I was in was going to be broken into and I would be killed. Its not like the door actually closed all the way anyway. I've never been more disgusted, I didnt even use the sink water to brush my teeth, Luckily, I had a bottled water in my bag. Never again will I be cheap and book a room here. I did not sleep because I was afraid something was going to crawl on me. If you've never stayed here before, save yourself the trouble and don't. ...
