Hotel Guest Reviews of the Budget Inn Deer Lodge

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The room was made for extended stays - large area, large mini-fridge and microwave, plenty of rack space and drawers, large sink/bathroom area.
Not enough lighting in the room.

For the price, you can't beat staying for a night or, what I did, three. Very quiet area, yet still close enough to the interstate. Friendly people in the town itself as well. It's not your typical stay spot, but it does the trick. Plus the restaurant next door is pretty good. I'd stay there again.

We didn't even check in. It was disgusting from the outside.
It is 2 blocks away from the prisoner's wives club where they inbreed and then let their crusty children run the neighborhood. No thank you! We found a nice, clean hotel across town that was quiet and non-crusty.

No comment. We wasted our money booking it in advance before we saw it.

The room reaked of smoke even though it was sold as a non-smoking room. The carpet was very dirty. The room was covered in dust and there was a nasty pile of hair and dirt behind the door in the bathroom.

For the price and location we didn't expect anything fancy. We did expect the room to be clean and pleasant, it was not. The room reaked of smoke the entire night even though it was a non smoking room and clearly posted there would be a $250 charge if it was smoked in. There was a noticable layer of dust on the headboard, tv, lights, etc. The bathroom had a pile of dirt and hair behind the door. The carpet was not just old and used but it was filthy, we didn't dare walk on it barefoot. I would not stay here again. ...read more

rooms were spacious had a nice table, microwave, small refrigerator. Also free wi-fi.
there was no breakfast, just coffee and granola bars. No hair dryer or shampoo.

The hotel was adequate for our needs, and was well located for our trip. The price was very good and the accommodations meet our expectations. The room was spacious and there was a small table which was very convenient.

Spacious room. Friendly staff.

Nice sized room. Had everything I need as a business traveler. Courteous staff. Not ultra modern, but plenty adequate.

It was close to where I needed to be. It had a fridge and microwave.
It is pretty old and run down.

This hotel is fairly old and run down. There was water damage on the ceiling tiles and water was leaking from the fridge leaving water all over the counter. I would most likely not stay here in the winter. The door had a good 1/2 inch gap at the bottom of the door.

Staff reduced the price of the room.
Water leaked through the ceiling into the bathroom.

Water was leaking through the ceiling of the bathroom. Got dripped on when using the toilet. Did not use shower for fear of water in electrical connections. Hotel said the new toilet installed upstairs had a problem. Staff checked out problem and reduced price. Curtains were off tracks. Breakfast was coffee and a bagel.

Plenty of parking.
The room was filthy.

The room was not what was reserved. The Bathroom was not cleaned and the whole room was stained and smelled terrible. The Wifi did not work in the room. The overall experience was awful and frankly I felt unsafe all night long and woke early to leave. I do not recommend this place to anyone!
