Hotel Guest Reviews of the Calipatria Inn & Suites
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 25, 2012

Overall it was okay, but
I expected more, but the staff was very good and friendly which helped make our stay not so bad.

This was advertised as a queen suite, with a couch and kitchenette. It was neither a suite, nor did it have a couch or a kitchenette. It was a simple, drab room for which they tried to overcharge us. The staff at the front desk was profoundly uninterested in helping. She claimed nothing could be done without the manager, who was completely unreachable until Monday. The restaurant was at best mediocre. My dining companion ordered tri-tip medium rare and was given something that approached beef jerky. When he complained, he was told she always cooks it that way. If you know what to expect, and pay minimum, it's the only hotel in town. But don't expect a Queen Suite or good dining, no matter what the site says.
