The Camelback hike was rigorous and the parking situation odd. Had to park on the street and walk thru a residential neighborhood for 20 min to get to trailhead. Otherwise, awesome experience!

The spa was great and sometimes the food was excellent. Many of the staff were wonderful although there were exceptions. For example, our server at the casual dining was impatient, on the verge of rude and unhelpful.
I wish I had known about a huge 200 person gathering and that the room I booked was older facing a common area and the dining areas with thin walls. Loud music was unescapable. I'm sure I'm not alone in expecting peace and quiet for a stay at a resort.

It seems to me rates for all hotels, and rental cars, are very high in March. I was here on business and so kept that in mind. And yet I still do not feel as though I "got my money's worth" in staying at this hotel. The large group staying concurrently was loud and fairly obnoxious. Additionally, the hotel seemed like an aged grand dame not quite her former self. All in all I would not recommend this hotel. There are alternatives for the price. ...read more

The rooms were very charming and unique. The ceiling was painted wood planks in an octagonal shape. The bed was super comfortable and plush. The room had a walk out patio with a small table and chairs.
I did not like the $25 resort fees, but all the resorts in Scottsdale charge a resort fee.

The Camelback Inn was my favorite resort in the Scottsdale area. I stayed in two other hotels, but this hotel had the most ambiance and charm.

Prime location in Paradise Valley. The property was very nice with restaurants, a Starbucks, heated pool and a friendly rabbit that hopped nearby every day.
Finding your room at night was tricky the first couple of nights but by no means bad.

The stay would have been better if Phoenix had normal weather for January. We arrived when it was the coldest in 20 years. Fountains were frozen and the valuable cactus had funny Styrofoam hats to keep them alive. But the hotel was great and had a very professional staff.

The location/view/feeling is phenomenal. Spectacular relaxtion and views.
Everytime you turn around it costs you $50. I have no problem paying for products and services but they tend to gouge you on evertyhing. $8 for a bottle of water that you would pay $2 for at a C store? Sorry....that is taking advantage of me. You know whe

It is located in Paradise valley....and it does provide a view that compliments that name...gorgeous and stunning views.
