Canadas Best Value Inn Kamloops

You get what you pay for I was here for surgery in Kamloops and had to stay a lot longer if that would have been known I would have gotten better accommodations but over all it was far better than many places that were rated higher than this hotel. Things are dated at best.

Very clean and good location for a short stay.

The price is fair

Not overly clean, towel bar off the wall, door was dirty and the blind was broken so it didn't cover all the window, not one picture on the wall, poor breakfast(costco muffins) small coffee pot. We were not impressed with the whole situation.

When my husband and myself entered the room we checked the bed and surroundings for unwanted guests (bed bugs). As we always stay in hotels when we travel, we always check the room for bed bugs and overall cleanliness, regardless of the hotel chain's reputation. It took no more that a minute to find them. They were in between the mattress and box spring as well as in the baseboards. When I went to the office to inform them of the situation, the manager, did not appear to be concerned and immediately offered us another room. They were not apologetic and seemed not to be bothered. Friendly staff, clean rooms, enough parking spaces. Comfortable beds.

Try to avoid this hotel in the future. Do not fool by its cheapness since there is a reason for that.

This is an old, very modest motel. It's affordable in a town where motel prices are exorbitant. Fridge, stove and microwave in the room. Clean, new carpets. Dated furnishings, but in good repair. View of the river valley. Continental breakfast was coffee, fruit, coffee cake, toast and peanut butter and jam. Nothing fancy, but adequate.
