Hotel Guest Reviews of the Candlewood Suites Charlotte - University
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 22, 2013

The hotel is generally quite and located in a good area. The room size is nice with a stove, cabinet space and midsize refrigerator. Great price for your money.

I would prefer that they incorporate continental breakfast. I've enjoyed it so much, but my stay was so short. Refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, flat screen TV with HBO, utensils, a great queen size bed, a huge computer desk, recliner. I couldn't be happier.

smaller bed than I thought it should be, had to trade towels out as they did not clean the room daily. Good TV though, large screen.

The room was described as Suite with separate living area. It was not separate from anything.

This hotel is currently under construction for remolding. For me, it is not in a safe location being that it is hidden. There is not housekeeping staff to assist you. You pretty much have to defend for yourself. I will most likely not stay at this hotel again.

I had to get up and ask them to keep it down. The hotel, unbeknown to us, was doing renovations and none of the facilities were available, the lobby was full of dust and noise. Worst of all many of the rooms, including my friend's didn't have any water for most of the weekend. He had to shower in my room! Also, they were doing construction early in the morning which also served to wake you up out of Ur sleep! Last but not least, the refrigerator in my room did not work. I doubt I will ever be staying at that comfort suites again. ...

Location was not as expected or as depreciated on the Priceline map. Difficult in/out of entrance on main road. Under construction, no breakfast in the mornings, and no housekeeping if staying less than 7 nights. Late check-in was difficult as nobody was at the front desk. Hot water was luke-warm, at best. Absolutely zero cell service in room from two different carriers (Sprint and US Cellular). Comfortable beds!
