Heating/AC Unit would stop running while we were sleeping due to no motion, room got hot until you moved.

Very nice place - only stayed one night but would be perfect place for weekly business trip stays. Thermostat in room had little sign that bragged about how it knew when you left room and would save energy by cutting the AC/Heat back. This worked fine when gone. But, when sleeping, the motion sensors would think we were gone and the temperature would rise to uncomfortable levels. You would have to throw your arms up in the air and wave them around to get the AC to kick on. Then, it would blast you with cold air which was not all that comfortable because at that point you had already broken in to a sweat. ...read more

There was no pool located at this hotel. Also the gym was not sufficient in size and choice.

Clean room and bathroom, friendly staff, recliner, comfortable bed.
We were on the street side and the noise of traffic was a little bothersome.

I found this hotel to be perfect for my stay in the Richmond area. It was right next door to where my daughter was having Lasik surgery and the manager allowed us to check-in early, right after the surgery was complete. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was roomy and well stocked.
