Hotel Guest Reviews of the Candlewood Suites Sterling
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 3, 2013

On the whole, this was good for the price. The room was clean and quiet, and the location was great. It would be nice if they'd either make the entire place non-smoking or separate the smoking rooms to their own floor; the stale smoke smell was pretty pervasive. The bedding could use some work; I'm not usually picky about pillows but we got three tiny, flat pillows for two people sharing a king-size bed. It felt like they'd been used a million times already. Still, if I need a place to stay for a night in that area again, I'd consider this hotel. It was a bargain. But I'd bring my own pillows! ...

This hotel is not a good selection unless traveling by yourself and a heavy smoker, no breakfast available, save your money and book elsewhere.

Without a doubt, the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on. When I say I slept "on"it, I mean I never even turned down the covers for fear of what may be on the sheets. The room smelled so bad that I went to Lowes and bought a can of Lysol and saturated the whole room. As a result of this experience, I will never use Priceline to shop for deals for anything below a 4 star hotel. ...
