Hotel Guest Reviews of the Casa Magna Marriott Resort Cancun
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 17, 2013

Rooms are nice and well clean. Lobby is big and the free parking is a fantastic advantage. Prices for food in the various restaurants inside the hotel are extreme high.

Please be prepared for the expensive drinks or buy your own alcohol and make your own drinks. Food was fare.

You might want to go ahead and exchange your currency for pesos before you get here. They are not supposed to accept the US dollars in cash so you will need to have plenty of pesos or use your credit card for everything. The hotel itself was very nice and well worth the price and star rating. Next time we will probably go to an all adult property however. We spent a lot of time avoiding families with children who were allowed to run wild while the parents paid no attention. ...

Very reliable, very clean, good customer service, good restaurants. A bit boring for solo/single travelers. Try to get all inclusive because the drinks are a bit expensive. No complaints on the hotel though.

It is very convenient place to have a tour but not for rest in the hotel.

The hotel was just fine. The game room doesn't exist anymore.

Our upgrade to an oceanfront suite was well worth the cost, although it was a little on the small side with sparse furnishings and small deck. All considered, would do it again. Resort staff was great - everywhere. Ate at most restaurants in the hotel. Food was always good and the staff always knowledgeable and helpful. Pool area plenty large, as well as the beach, even when an international company brought in hundreds. Grounds and hotel public areas were beautiful. Location great, right in the middle, away from spring-breakers. ...

Fabulous place to stay at and visit. Lots of amenities for tourists. For visitors who want more economical places to eat - other than the hotel restaurants,- I'd recommend McDonald's or the Papa John's Pizza place both which are across the street from the Marriott. An OXXO (7-11 type store) is also across the street but a short walk from McDonald's.
