Exciting decor with very friendly staff. Try to get a room with a balcony. We stayed before and after a cruise. The first room had no balcony and the bathroom shower very strangely had no door. The water from the shower just went into a drain in the floor. But the balcony room was amazing. Even had a shower door. LOL. Also a bidet. Didn't feel like a hotel at all. Just a temporary condo conversion.

We accidentally left our laptop in the room. When we arrived home and called the hotel, they checked with housekeeping and told us the computer was turned in and we could get it from the managers office. We had a very pleasant stay at the Tempo. The rooms were uniquely contemporary, but it was fun to experience something a bit out of the norm. Our room was quite spacious and comfortable with large walk-in closet, nice mini-bar, and enormous (for a hotel) bathroom...complete with separate tub and shower. Great up and coming hotel, with friendly staff that were eager to assist. The interior is a lovely blend between modern lines and materials with a classic palate of white, black, gray and a soft green.

The hotel itself was great, however, it was very odd finding our way into the hotel. We had to wander around it, and the front entrance was not that obvious. If flying in, I was told it would be about the same amount of time from the Miami airport as Fort Lauderdale, however, it it much closer to the Miami airport if thinking of taking a taxi. The room itself was very nice, but as other people have noted, there is no door between the bed and the shower, and the shower itself is glass, so people in the same room can easily watch you shower, thus, romantic perhaps, but not family friendly.
