Hotel Guest Reviews of the Charlotte Marriott City Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 20, 2013

Be sure to ask for Consierge Level Lounge. This service will allow you free light breakfast and supper meals. The hotel is well rated at 4 Stars. Everything about it first class and the better.

Going on Priceline saved us money, but in the long run the parking and eating are so expensive for the hotel, that I do not know if its worth paying the price unless breakfast or lunch is included. Trust me it can get pricey.Other than that it is a great place to stay because it is near everything in downtown Charlotte.

The room however was not good. There is something wrong with the a/c system is appears for that room although I did read other reviewers that had the same issue. The room smelled like mold, dirty socks. I did report it and they sprayed air freshener but the smell came back. We reported the issue to the ladies at the front desk on the way out. It seems like they need to have a thorough cleaning of the a/c system. We were on the 19th floor. The view was great however and location, can't be beat. Within walking distance to the Discovery Place, Time Warner arena, many good places to eat. There is even a CVS/Walgreens near by if you forget something. We would go back but want a room without that smell for sure. ...
