Staff was very pleasant. Complimentary breakfast was also pretty decent. Rooms were rather clean.
Only minor issue was that it was very easy to hear people outside of the rooms. Bit of an issue if someone is having a lengthy conversation at 4am just outside your room.
Hotel was exactly what you would expect out of a 2.5 star in Banff. Location was pretty good (about a 10 minute walk to downtown), rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. Overall, a solid experience.

The fact that it had seperate quarters for us and the kids and the kitchen was alright.
Bathroom was way to small. No bath.
Location was OK. One thing I was not impressed with is they did not bother to clean our room,, you know that just isn"t right.

The cleanliness (amazing), size of the rooms, staff, free breakfast, free wi-fi, free parking.
It was an older hotel - somewhat dated - but the cleanliness and upkeep made up for it. The pool was very cold.
We are planning on making a 'real' trip to Banff (this was on the way home from a trip to Calgary) and will definitely be staying at this hotel.

My room was located in a faraway, dark corner of a covered parking lot. Had booked an additional night, had to check in again for 2nd night.

Check in hours until $23:00, which might not be convenient to some late travelers.
Does not provide self service laundry, which is provided by some other hotel nearby. It should be a convenient service for Rocky mt. travelers.
