Fantastic location in the heart of the French Quarter. Staff was good - poolside service was excellent - you must have the breakfast bloody mary - comes with bacon, celery, olives, tomato - it's a meal in a glass sure to cure any cobwebs from the night before. Cafe in the lobby was great - true to New Orleans food reputation, even the simple hashbrowns I ordered were cooked to perfection. We could not believe how spacious the room was. The bed was great, wish I had one like that at home. The bathroom was super clean, how do they keep the glass shower door spotless? The reception personal answered all questions and was extremely helpful

The hotel was close to the main streets but extremely quiet. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. A variety of restaurants/shopping were close by. For a traveler not having a car was not a problem. Taxis are reasonable and public transportation just a few blocks away. Our room came with iron and ironing board, safe, refrigerator, coffee machine, hair dryer and TV. The L-shaped sofa was a nice touch. A lot of thought went into the decorating, the colors were calming and relaxing. All in all the stay was very enjoyable. Great location, beautiful room and an awesome balcony. Also, the fitness room was really nice.
The food at the hotel was quite expensive for what it was - $8 for oatmeal!

The hotel overall was wonderful. I would definitely stay again any time I'm in New Orleans.

The location was ideal. Love the indoor courtyard access that we had from our room, which was much more convenient than using the hallway.
Great cafe at the hotel, but I wish there was a store inside the hotel.

Room was great and clean. Staff was attentive. The hotel was just off Bourbon Street, but was extremely quiet.
Room's window looked into an inner atrium rather than outside, which made the room feel somewhat shut-in.

Great location for those staying in the French Quarter.

The location of the hotel was amazing, right in the heart of the French Quarter. The hotel was what I would expect from a four star hotel, super clean and fancy!
I only had a little trouble with one staff member who was curt with me when I requested a room with two queen beds.

The hotel location was prime, it was clean, we were greeted by the staff whenever we left and returned, the room was incredibly comfortable. It was all I could have asked for from a four star hotel. Highly recommended to anyone who would like to visit the French Quarter.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds, ipod docking station, walking distance to many attractions near the french quater and burbon street mercedes benz dome a 10-15 min walk. The hotel has a nice bar and resturant. Breakfast is 12.00 for a small buffett not complimentary which it should because of the price of the hotel also parking should be included. the is a mini fridge and coffee maker but no microwave at this hotel. ...read more

I like everything about the hotel from the friendly staff to comfort of the rooms. Great place to stay.
I didn't like the fact the hotel did not allow pets, wished they had a full breakfast restaurant and parking was very expensive.

The overall stay at the Hyatt French Quarter really exceeded my expectations.
