Hotel Guest Reviews of the Clarion Hotel And Conference Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.January 22, 2012
Extremely noisy all night. Called front desk to complain...was laughed at. No manager to control the partners. Barely got any sleep at all. Horrible experience. Would not return.

I attempted to get some orange juice, the first morning I was there and there was a fly or some small insect attached to the spout. I ate out the rest of the week.

This building needs a lot of work. Staff was not sufficient for all the problems. A/C trouble , lack of ice machines.

The hotel was dirty. One night I was not given clean towel and I had to ask 3 times for them Overall, I was very disappointed for the value for this price.

Would be a nice place if the rooms were taking better care of.

The hotel is just an old hotel. You're not getting a 5 star amenities. Breakfast was great though. You're getting a bed, a TV and you're kind of close to downtown. 2 mile drive. If you're checking in at 3 expect a wait. Not enough staff to handle all of the people especially if there is a greyhound conference that weekend. The pool hours are not the hours posted I guess. They have adult pool hours from 10-11 which are wrong according to the hotel linen guy who was sent to kick us out of the pool. He was super creepy and we told him we were staying till 11. He never came back. But like I said...It's a bed. Cheap. It takes dogs. I was happy. ...

I had a blast, and loved it.. I would have thought it a weird place if I hadn't seen the movie they shot there.. but it was just like depicted in the movie.. so fun.

felt like we were the only people there.
The hotel was extremely accessible and easy to find; staff was friendly, however, key cards didn't work for either room, had to be let into room every time; requested two repairs to room upon arrival; left like we had the hotel to ourselves, were able to eat continental breakfast and a relaxing atmosphere, had the pool and fitness areas to ourselves.

Because it was one of the cheaper hotels we found in Ann Arbor on a football weekend, we weren't expecting very much, but we were pleasantly surprised when we checked in! It was very nice! The staff was very nice. Continental breakfast was wonderful. We asked for more pillows after we got to our room and they were delivered very quickly! We only had minor issues, the outlets on the desk didn't work. There was a power strip used for it and that didn't work. Also, I had a broken ankle when I went so I needed to use the handle in the bath tub and it wasn't connected to the wall all the way so I wasn't able to use it. For most people, that wouldn't be an issue. ...

I canceled my reservation after seeing 2 of the rooms. It was old and dirty.
