Hotel Guest Reviews of the Clarion Hotel Gillette
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 8, 2013

In addition to the drunken instance, at 6:45 A.M. kids were in the pool area screaming and making an incredible amount of noise. The pool is not suppose to open till 8:00. The dinner on Sat eve was not good in the restaurant and involved the manager. I will not stay at this hotel again for any price!

The staff was friendly but the room and the overall stay were far less than ideal.

Pros: Great stay at a reasonable price. Carpets and rooms looked freshly done. Room decor was understated and very relaxing. Our room on third floor was very quiet and spacious. Bathroom was clean. Beds were big, clean and inviting. Hot tub was nice and warm. Breakfast was as good as most chains and they kept it supplied while we were there. Workout area looked fine although we didn't use it. The hotel has really updated since the last time we were here years ago. Will definitely stay here again. Local newspapers were free and available. The restaurant, Bootleggers, is very nice. Had a great meal-inviting atmosphere. Generous portions and tasty food. Service was very good and they accomodated a number of requests that we had. Nice house wine. Best meal and restaurant ambiance we've had in Gillette (and we stay here 2 times every year for meetings). Cons: Not a big deal, but no flat screen, athough our picture on TV was fine. No Micro or Fridge in room. We were fine without. Friends asked for a fridge in their room and they brought one up. ...

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! The room had stains on the ceilings, the refrigerator didn't work. WiFi worked sporadically. The so-called breakfast was coffee and juice from a machine in the lobby. There was no remote for the TV. I found hair in the bed. Front desk staff was nice enough but didn't seem to care about complaints, i.e., "I'll tell someone." I was informed the breakfast was in the lobby but when leaving noticed the restaurant serving breakfast; it wasn't clear if that was the free breakfast or not. The pool, hot tub and exercise room were all closed and had been for quite some time. All the amenities that I rented this place for were either not working at all or only on occasion. This should be a 1 star rated place, not 2 1/2 or more. ...
