Hotel Guest Reviews of the Clarion Hotel Portland
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.Sort by: All Travelers | Business Traveler(12) | Solo Traveler(13) | Traveling as Couple(72) | Family with Young Children(12) | Family with Teens(8) | Senior Traveler(1) | Group Traveler(9)

The location was great. Plenty of free parking.
Noisy. We could hear the kids in the room above us a lot. Only one elevator so you wait a lot.
The hotel in my opinion is not a 3 star hotel. I'm afraid to use priceline again in fear we would get this room. It was fair for the price but not a 3 star.

There was a great staff and it was a nice lobby. Room is average but beds are great!! Elevator is so slow!! There is Pete and Larry restaurant that is great but it closes at 10 so that's a little early for a bar on Saturday night. No continental breakfast
There is no continental breakfast and it cost 9 bucks per person for breakfast.

Good price, clean, convenient.
The hallway noise is a bit louder than a typical hotel.
Your average hotel room. Certainly clean and convenient. A bit on the noisy side.

location is convenient to downtown Portland and other areas of the city as well as room prices
the hotel has 1 small elevator and is very outdated, the entire hotel is in need of major renovation and needs to join the modern world.
this hotel is a real bargain as far as other hotels in the Portland area. it is also very run down, they have a decent sized parking lot unlike other Portland hotels who usually have no parking. the rooms are very mediocre its not that they are not clean, its very old and they need to stop trying to squeeze every cent from the last renovation from what seems 25+ years ago.
