Staff friendly and helpful.
Floor was dirty.

If you need to be in midtown for a meeting - you are there. If you want to meet friends for a drink - find out where they are staying.

Location!
Street noise.

This was my 4th time staying at this Club Quarters. I was traveling with my family so we needed the suite. Unfortunately, there suites are on lower levels of hotel. We were on 6th floor. There is a night club right next to the hotel and the noise from the people who hang outside by the door was horrible!!! So loud! I called to complain at 12:30 am, not much happened. Do not stay on lower levels. This is not a problem on higher levels. Or as for back rooms that ate not on street side. ...read more

Nice room, very friendly staff, good boutique hotel, good location; OK price
No safe in room (important); poor water pressure; no in-room movies;

The hotel had a very friendly and help staff; nice boutique hotel; room was clean and comfortable; wifi included; very good location, reasonable price; The hotel did not have an in-room safe which is mandatory for business traveler, very poor water pressure in shower, no in-room movies like other hotels.

Location - great and the staff were EXCELLENT.
Trash on the floor in the hall & sheet cart set right outside our door.

Though there were minor things we didn't like, we loved the staff and the location was amazing. Had an issue with the sink backed up and they fixed it immediately. We would stay there again.

The location was great.
We had to wait 30 minutes to get our luggage.

If you want a great location this is a great hotel. Right across the street from Rockefeller Plaza and Radio City Music Hall.

The staff was largely incompetent. We spent almost 20 minutes just paying for our room. They had charge after charge, and kept asking us to swipe our credit card. After all of that was complete, we were told that we would be moved to a sister property next door. When this happened, our room no longer included the two beds and kitchenette that we ordered. We requested that our situation be amended, but the hotel staff kept putting us off. We were told that a room would be available the second day of our stay that matched our order, but we continued to get this answer for two days. ...read more

Great location and price!
Computers down when we stayed - took hours to check in. Very annoying.

My wife and I stayed here to try and save some money during a recent trip to see Wicked. When we arrived, we were told that the hotel computers were down and they could not check anyone in. They told us to come back later, without any specific time, and that if they could not get it running, they would manually check guests in. Annoyed, we walked around for an hour or so, whereupon I called to check if everything was operational. It wasn't. I couldn't understand why they wouldn't just check guests in manually right away, instead of having us wait. We took another hour of sightseeing and then waited about forty minutes to be manually checked into our room. The room was incredibly nice – small, but clean with a nice view and a great shower. The hotel is very small, horizontally speaking, so there are only a few rooms per floor which is nice. Besides the check in fiasco, our stay was great - we ordered room service the following morning and it arrived within ten minutes, (although they still could not charge it to the room; they took cash instead, and settled for an amount less than the order was actually priced, as I didn't have too much cash on me). We would definitely stay here again, especially if the prices remain the same! ...read more
