Hotel Guest Reviews of the Coachman Inn

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Good room, a little bit noisy location

Decent hotel for the price.

Older building, mediocre room appointments, but a staff that was amazing. Our son is at the university in Bellingham, so we'll be staying at The Coachman again and again.
Needs upgrading. But for the price, it is an outstanding value just as it is.

From check in to check out, this is the best deal ever.

The Coachman Inn was accommodating and clean
The heater thermostat wasn't very accurate. Too hot or too cold. The property has cameras everywhere, my wife went outside for a cigarette and was yelled at by the night manager. Makes you feel like you are being watched all the time, kinda creepy

The main manager is really nice and helpful. The night manager is a jerk. Rooms are a little small and cramped for my liking. Would I recommend the place? Well, if your passing through for a night it works. To stay for a few days, no. and if you don't mind being under surveillance. Will I go back? probably not. Over all the place is nice and clean

Very convenient to Western Washington University. Staff person was incredibly nice.
Noisy from the freeway, but that is what earplugs are for.

Friendly staff ,good location, great value!
The smoking rooms were VERY NOISY, so close to the freeway.

Great value budget motel, good location, friendly staff, nice free breakfast, just an overall good deal.

It was clean and the owners and staff were fantastic. They provided a free breakfast made up of cereal, bagels, bananas, water, juice, coffee, apples, and other nibbles.
A little far from the airport and the floors in the rooms could be redone

Be prepared for an older building. Nothing fancy. The price is right. I hope they do not raise the price. It is quaint and very clean. The owner and his son are great.

Helpful staff, convenient parking (I could watch my ride from my window) Noise from 2nd floor, but not enough to make me rap on the ceiling;9)
A bit far from where I needed to be, but I could have checked that before booking...my bad.

Easy access to the I-5 for motorists. Convenient to restaurants including Mickey D's and a nice Mexican place right across the road.

It was easy to find.
The carpet was filthy and sticky. It smelled, felt dirty and neglected.

I wouldn't expect to pay so much for a dirty, stinky room. I was very disappointed.

Our son is a student at WWU. We have stayed here many times. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly.

Great location. Great value for the price.

2nd time staying here. The service is friendly, the rooms are spotless and well maintained, and the beds are comfortable. This is not a luxury resort - it is a well priced motel style property, and exceeds my expectations for a property of this type.
