Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn At The Harbor
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 12, 2013

Not to take away from the staff as they where great, but this hotel was extremely disappointing in almost every way. Unheated pool was unusable on a trip with kids. Lots of street noise. Many hotels in the same area were nicer and about the same price. We had stayed 2 nights and would not stay again. We Stayed at a Real 4 star paying full price on our third night in San Diego for almost the same money. Lesson learned. Tried to be frugal and paid the price. ...

Great service for the price. The front desk man was very helpful and professional. Without requesting it, a technician came in to replace the showerhead which was acting up, so that was good, even more so because he, too, was very pleasant. Received a phone call from a cleaning lady asking if I needed anything. This hotel far exceeded much expectations for the very competitive price I paid for the room. It was for three nights, by the way. About the general location, it could be better, of course, but there are several motels in the vecinity, as well as restaurants, the airport, etc.

I would stay here again. The price was unbeatable. The hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and staff helpful. One problem could arise if you are a large person, the shower door opening was really, really small.

Excellent location near the harbor, you can enjoy fresh seafood in walking distance. I will recommend this hotel, if the quality of room cleaning can be improved.

Great, inexpensive, clean place for a one-night stay if you're seeing a concert at Humphrey's, but would not want to book it for a vacation multiple day stay.

Not bad! Though when guest are leaving, person at front desk
needs to engage more with the customer on their way out smile
and show enthusiasm.

traffic noise.
There aren't many nice choices to stay in Point Loma, all are similar to this. On a busy street with loud traffic noise. Heard hotel doors slamming all night. Staff was very friendly though. Left cell phone charger behind and called to retrieve it, no one can locate. Clearly cleaning crew not trustworthy.
