Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn Dfw North /Irving

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Very friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Rooms are dated, but very clean for their age. They appear to be working on a remodel.

Had hot breakfast and free parking. Not far from the events we planned to do.
We had reserved one room with 2 queen beds and we had double beds. Condiments were pricey. Bottle of water was $2.50. Lots of road noise. We were on the front side facing the freeway.

Rooms were clean, easy to find and central location for all our events. Breakfast was ok.

They were very friendly and overall wanting to meet all our needs.
location just because close to the airport, all stores prices were higher, and the hotel foods prices were higher too.

Staff helpful. Rooms nice and clean.
Shuttle to airport began at 5am, too late for me. I had to take a cab. This would have been nice to know in advance. Priceline should list these times as a option.

asked for non-smoking room which was on smoking floor. the entire floor reeked of cigarettes as you exited the elevator; it was disgusting. called the front desk and staff seemed unconcerned about the well-documented health hazard of secondhand smoke. b

We have been staying here for years and what we used to like the best was the free parking for our car. Apparently as of recently, since we still had free parking in May, they just changed this policy and now its $25.
The lady at the desk was so rude and hateful. She was rude about the parking charge and also put us in a smoking room and was rude when we asked to change to non smoking.

We have always been great customers of this hotel and have recommended it to everyone who might be flying out of DFW but after this past time, we will not be going back. We went from loving this hotel to hating it. Apparently the free parking has recently changed to $25 parking and we were just there 5 months ago. The lady was rude when we asked if this was new and she was rude about changing our room to a nonsmoking room because she had us in a smoking room that smelled horrible. Since we have always loved the free parking and this hotel does not offer this anymore, we have found many other hotels in this area around the same price, that offer free parking and shuttle and we'll be choosing one of those from now on. I think that the comfort inn is going to lose a lot of business not offering the free parking anymore when all the others do. And the rude desk lady is also not going to help the business.

Customer service was awesome and couldn't hear air planes with DFW airport next door.
Room smelled of mold.

Extremely affordable and close to DFW airport.
