Family Traveling with Teens
This hotel met the expectations we had for a one night stay. We were visiting Schreiner University and needed lodging for one night, and the price was reasonable for a clean and comfortable room.

Senior Travelers
Family friendly and pleasant. Breakfast was good but they should have had more than one person doing the serving because the hotel was full and one person couldn't keep up. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Solo Traveler
We specifically selected this hotel for the indoor pool and found that the pool was out of order! The evening staff at front desk was fine the morning staff was very busy taking care of personal busy on the hotel desk phones and could not be disturbed to take care of hotel guests.

Everything was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful had problem with sink stopping up,it was corrected right away. Breakfast was good my son loved the Texas shaped waffles. Would definitely stay there again.

Family Traveling with Teens
They stated that because of the recent remodeling that pets were not allowed. There were not many improvements seen. The paint was coming off the wall in the bathroom, the shower head leaked and the room had a musty smell. The lobby was nice and the swimming pool appeared to be well maintained. The continental breakfast was satisfactory.

Family Traveling with Young Children
Overall I was pleased with our stay. The room was very spacious and the bed comfortable. The refrigerator did not work nor did the remote control for the TV in the living area, but these were minor issues as we did not spend much time in the room anyway. Certainly this is not an upscale type hotel, but for a basic place to lay your head at night it is certainly acceptable. The staff was very friendly and responded to all our requests promptly. The free breakfast offering was nice: waffles, coffee, juice, cereal and breads. However, the second day it seemed that the waffle batter was sour, like it hadn't been changed out from the morning before. Otherwise, not bad for a free breakfast. ...
