Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn Oshawa
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 9, 2013

Not a high end hotel but clean and good value for the money.

Nice, comfortable hotel with friendly staff and comfortable beds and pillows. A hearty breakfast with large bagels, cereal and milk, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, waffles, etc. What more can a person want?

The hotel itself isn't bad. We have stayed at Comfort Inn before and had no complaint.

This is not a bad hotel but it could be a lot better. Firstly, the number of smoking rooms should be reduced to zero. Nobody wants a smoking room these days - even the smokers. It stinks plain and simple. Secondly, the carpet was so stained and dirty that we left our shoes on at all times when getting out of bed. Too gross to describe. I told the reception clerk about my concerns upon leaving (in a nice way - it's not the fault of the staff) and several people in the lobby agreed with me audibly. Those smoking rooms are the last to be booked - I know, I tried to get a non-smoking but smoking was all they had left. The location is good for travelers but simply updating the carpet and renovating the smoking rooms to non-smoking rooms would make this hotel a lot more popular with its guests. I can tell by the other reviews I've seen too. ...
