Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn St Catharines
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 25, 2011

At end of day once the manager
called the hotel they let us in, but the lady at the front desk could have made that decision she was very rude and not happy
I guess to be working there.

Pleasant hotel near where I wanted to be. Good staff. Non-smoking room, clean, and comfortable. Will book there again next time I am in St. Catharine's overnight.

The room reeked badly - smelled of stale cigarette smoke. I said that was ridiculous, that smoking rooms should cost more, as they need more cleaning! The shower ceiling was dirty, and the room decor was dated. The staff were unhelpful. No printing services despite indicating there were. The room was cold when we arrived mid-afternoon - no heat on. Bathroom floor was freezing. Thanks for nothing Comfort Inn! ...

Everything was great until the morning when we could not shower because of no hot water. Talked to the front desk and they could not do anything because we booked online through priceline. Was told the manager would call me and resolve the problem, still waiting for that to happen. Contacted head office. Still in limbo.

It was a horrible stay - at the check-in I was told that I can only get a smoking room - there are free non-smoking rooms, but there is a surcharge of $10. After entering the room it was really cold, the heater was off (remember it was late December). I turned on the heater, left the room and went back to the Niagara Falls (it was impossible to stay in the room, the temperature was below 55F). I returned about 3 hours later and it was still too cold, even though the (small) heater was running at the maximum power. The room was in a rather poor condition. I was staying at several Comfort Inns shortly and they were way better than this one. ...

Priceline came through in aces, very easy to check in, hotel chosen for us was in a perfect location and easy to get to off the highway. The hotel was clean, our room had a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee pot. The staff was very accommodating. It included breakfast which we were not expecting for the low price. I would definitely stay here again.
