Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 3, 2013

Easy to get to but in a rather "sketchy" neighborhood, especially if you plan to walk anywhere (like to the Power and Light District or Sprint center). Take a cab! Hotel was under construction, so it was fairly dusty in the corridors. The breakfast was hot, plentiful and really delicious. Super helpful staff throughout our stay. It was nice to have free parking included in the hotel stay. Bed was comfortable but noise, just from people walking on the floor above us, made for a restless night. It sounded like the floor joists were loose! ...

I believe someone should inform you there is limited parking and over flow parking is not secured. That would be very important to me because I own a luxury car and I know they can be targeted by thieves. I picked this hotel by the star rating and other guest reviews, which the hotel itself lived up to but I will not pick this again and most definintely would think twice about booking without asking about parking. ...

Family Traveling with Young Children
The interstates are real close, so traveling to any of the landmarks around kcmo/kck is not a hard task. It took us 15 minutes to get to cabelas, and maybe 10 minutes to get to the plaza. There are alot of Vietnamese restaurants right down the street, walking distance.

Overall the stay was fine. Don't try to do a late checkout. None of the 3 staff we spoke with wrote that down so they expected us out due to their failure. They would not try to help with the problem.

The staff was very friendly at check-in. I enjoyed knowing that guests had to register their vehicles to park in the parking lot and that non-registered vehicles would be towed. There is nothing like staying somewhere being from out of town and the parking lot is too full because of others parking in the lot.
