Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 8, 2013

Standard double-bed hotel, nothing fancy. Our room did happen to have a nice view.

It's an older motel but it is nicely kept. Smack dab in the downtown area- everything is an easy walk to get to. I absolutely loved the continental breakfast (included scrambled eggs & bacon). The staff was extremely helpful and nice. The parking garage was a couple of blocks away but wasn't as bad or scary as others had mentioned. Across the street was the best little pizza place - perfect snack food after coming back from bourbon street. ...

The parking was a bargain compared to most places in the city. And it was covered. The location was decent. The french quarter was very easy to get to but the riverwalk was a 15 minute walk. The beds were very comfortable. The shower made a horrible whistling noise the whole time it was on and there was hardly any water pressure but overall it was nice. Would probally stay again. ...

The hotel rooms were not bad. The staff was nice and kind. There was nothing special about this place that made it standout. But it was not horrible either. It was just a place to sleep.

The location was pretty good. It was very dated and run down feeling. The elevators had dirty carpet. If I owned or managed the place i would get some new cleaners. The aesthetic in general was off.You can walk to French quarter, you can walk to trolley. There are small amenities like Walgreens and shops to pick up essentials nearby. I liked the location and since we didn't spend time in the room it was fine. Breakfast was included and there is a bar and restaurant downstairs. ...
