Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn Toronto North

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

Conveniently located just off the Hwy.400, easy to find, generally quiet, very pleasant staff during my stay.
Only half of the breakfast services were available due to broken machinery, the wifi access wasn't working properly (perhaps due to location of my room) during my stay, not all 'basic cable' channels were available.

I was in Toronto to visit relatives and used the hotel for sleeping, nothing more. I wasn't after anything fancy and it was conveniently located and provided very good value for the money I paid.
The lower TV channels were snowy. The only real downside were guests who had loud conversations in the halls, let their kids run back and forth and slammed their room doors when entering or leaving. I can't fault the hotel or its staff for that.

The hotel is showing its age a bit and looks better in pictures than in real live but it is still fully acceptable in my book and met my expectations for the star level. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast (cereal, toast, muffins, juice, fruit) was on par with what I would expect. It's a little isolated and access to a car is pretty much a necessity but it is located very close to an exit from Hwy 400 and to a couple of major city streets (E-W and N-S) and has free parking, so access by car is easy. The hotel advertizes free internet in the rooms but I did not try it. ...read more

Clean adequate room. Nice free breakfast. Great price in price lines name your price- less than half price!
Key did not work when I tried to get in my room after being out for the day. Huge mess if vomit in the main stairwell which they didn't seem in a hurry to clean up.

Pros: Price xxx/night Location - right off 400 close to York U and Canada's Wonderland. Nice flat screen tv Clean room Cons Vomit mess in stairwell. Jane and Finch area if GTA

The room was very nice and clean, even the bathroom! For a 2 star rating, my expectations were exceeded nicely. I was happily surprised to have complimentary tea, coffee and soup at the check-in desk. Thank you for a lovely stay!

This hotel is right at Highway 400, which extremely convenient for anyone needing to get the 401 from the west-end of Toronto.

Front desk person was surly that I booked on Priceline. When i wanted a non-smoking room, he asked why I didn't request one at booking time. I said I didn't think I got that choice, and he replied "Well, why should I give you a choice now?" Got a NS room.

location and price, good value
a bit noisy, you could hear the ice machine going all night and people walking the halls.

Close proximity to downtown toronto, canadas wonderland & vaughan mills. Clean good value hotel for the price.
