Hotel Guest Reviews of the Comfort Inn West Sunset Blvd

Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.

The entire place smells like cigarette smoke. It's disgusting.

Was clean and in convenient location with reasonable price and the secure parking was great.
No pool was disappointing, coffee in room tasted horrible.

This hotel is conveniently located to the areas I was visiting and was in a decent location with a reasonable price. The gated parking was an extreme plus for me and made up for the lack of a pool. The complimentary breakfast filled the void hunger I eat vegan bacon, instead of the real greasy bacon served and the eggs were strange.

Absolutely nothing!
Completely unsafe with bulletproof glass in the lobby!

We did not feel that the Star Designation was was warranted for this hotel. The hotel itself was clean and well kept, but the location was unsafe and downright scary. We were led to believe that it was in a nice, safe and comfortable location. Upon arrival, we realized that this was not the case. We will not stay at this hotel again. Furthermore, my credit card number was compromised at this hotel necessitating its cancellation and reissue. Very unfortunate. ...read more

I
liked the fact it had free underground parking.
I
did not like the fact that
I left something behind and could not get it the next day because housekeepers controlled the lost and found weren't avail.

This hotel is somewhat updated as in the rooms are nice, and when you arrive you don't feel like the room is from the 70's. It is also fairly clean and the things in the hotel seem modern. The hotel offers a free breakfast which was fully stocked and excellent quality and freshness. The only thing I would watch out for is the front desk people. Do not expect these people to go out of their way to accommodate you. In addition do not even ask the night auditor to do anything unless you don't mind waking him up and dealing with his lethargy in making new keys, pulling up accounts or any other common day to day activity.

The location, staff and condition of the hotel were all excellent for my needs. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there again, myself.
I have nothing negative to say, it was all good.

There was no reservation there when we arrived. The room had to be paid for again.

They overcharged me $50 and REFUSED to make it right, even though their printout showed the cheaper rate!!

Not a very safe neighborhood. Also, the price was supposed to be $344 and they charged me $393, even though their printout and mine both showed the price at $344. They REFUSED to make it right!!! I don't recommend this hotel to anyone. Their site said they have an outdoor pool, but when we got there, there is no pool. Parking garae had people sleeping in there, and my 19 year old daughter and I both felt very unsafe!! ...read more

The complimentary breakfast was amazing and exceeded our expectations!
