The lobby was pretty. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants.
Was assured by the gm via email that we had been assigned connecting rooms. We arrived early but was told they did not have the names for both rooms (both names were in the email from the gm) they could not grant our request. I emailed gm...no reply.

I would not stay there again. Management does not follow through on their promises and did not respond when contacted about the issue. There were stains on one of the bedspreads. The shower curtain smelled sour. The tub did not drain. The "full hot breakfast" did not live up to that definition unless you like to microwave your hard boiled eggs. The biscuits provided for sausage gravy (which was ok) were stone cold and hard. Had to microwave it first. Overall a disappointment for the price paid. ...read more

Room was very nice and staff was terrific when I thought I left my camera they went out of their way to look for it. Staff very friendly. Room nice and clean. Location very convenient for us.
Sound on TV was mute and thermostat did not work correctly but we reported it and they were going to address those two problems.

The room space and lay out was great. It was nice and clean. The location was convenient and the staff was helpful and friendly.

Good breakfast. Nice appearance. I felt safe.
Walls are a little thin.

Front desk people were great. Very nice. We were on the first floor, a little close to the lobby. There were many teenagers staying there so it was a little loud. I could hear the people upstairs walking around. The toilet in the bathroom constantly ran but we were too tire to complain,

Very convenient to I-95 and only a short drive to the city center.
Wish that the room had a digital control for AC. It actually did have one, but it wasn't hooked up to the machine.

The Comfort Suites Gateway Savannah was exactly what we needed for this trip and was close to the venue for the martial arts tourney we came to Savannah for, since it's only a short drive to Downtown, it was convenient for our short getaway. Our room had a microwave and fridge, which was handy. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a clean and comfortable place with convenient highway access (close to US17 as well as I-95). ...read more
