Hotel Guest Reviews of the Constitution Inn
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.March 12, 2013

The sprinkler head leaked, there was no regular window in the room just a sky light, the light switch to the bathroom made noises like it was going to short out and I was afraid to touch it because I thought I would be shocked, and the road to the hotel was still not plowed when we left Sunday at 11am from the blizzard on Friday/Saturday. Hotel was close to a free shuttle that took us to TD North Station from where we could board a subway to anywhere in the city or pick up a trolley tour. This was good value for the $$ and we would consider staying there again.

The Constitution Inn, though not located in the heart of all the action, was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle. Very pleasant and professional staff had answers to all of our questions. Conveniently located near the shuttle stop, as well as walking distance to restaurants, market and harbor.

This is an old Navy YMCA in the Charleston Naval Shipyard. Cinder block walls in the rooms. Cheap carpet and slippery linoleum in the room.
