Hotel Guest Reviews of the Continental Inn Charlotte
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.April 9, 2013

Just what I said above. Last year I stayed at a hotel down the street. Not happy with that one. Very bad layout on the property, dark secluded parking lot, poor access to the room I had. Did not feel secure there. Just the opposite at Continental.

We were discouraged from having any guests visit at any time. When our children came to visit (10 & 7), the front desk called the room just after sunset to tell us it was time for them to leave. The children were not making any disturbances. If we wanted to sleep in late and used the "Do Not Disturb" sign, the housekeeper still knocked on the door. When we refused having our room cleaned, the front desk called and announced that if we didn't allow the staff to clean our room, we would have to check out of the hotel (hotel rules). The complimentary breakfast should be avoided. The waffle iron's inside coating was pealing onto the waffle. They really limited the amount of food for breakfast and closed off breakfast early. Many breakdown in communication. Housekeeping staff were fairly professional. Front desk staff disrespectful, rude, not familiar with Priceline policies. If we could have gotten a refund, we would have left after the first night. We felt uncomforable staying at this hotel and would never visit there again. Thank you. ...

Nice, clean and relatively large room. Nextdoor to Wendy's, convenience store, McDonald's. Excellent Internet speed. Nice stay for a computer contractor like me. Easy one or two steps above the standard low-budget types.

I got what I expected for the price. The room was very clean, but dated. Overall, it was just about what I expected.
