The staff was very helpful, including the generous offer of shuttle rides any time we needed access to Metro stations.
Although well located in relation to Dulles International Airport, the hotel isn't positioned very well in relation to eating, shopping, or tourist locales. The hotel did a lot to overcome this disadvantage by providing free shuttle service on request.

Our room was clean, and the breakfast buffet was great: plenty of choices among tasty options. The lending library in the lobby is a nice touch. One can return a borrowed book to any Country Inn when finished; however, I'll probably just mail back the book I borrowed when I finish it. I always enjoy free newspapers in the lobby, too--and the cookies in the jar on the reception desk. ...read more

Nice hotel to stay the night when traveling through Washington DC Dulles airport, with free airport shuttle, nice complimentary breakfast and friendly staff.

Very nice staff. They were very nice and accommodating.
I had a cockroach in my room.

Staff was excellent. Upon entering my room I had a cockroach on my wall. The hotel luckily had more rooms on a different floor and changed my room and were very sincere.

Terrific value with varied, delicious breakfast and fresh cookies in late afternoon!
Too cold in room - such a waste of energy. Also, bed in summer is made with down comforter for frigid room.

I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers.

The front desk staff where very friendly and helpful.
It was not very easy to get to from the road. You had to drive down the road a ways to make u turn.

The entrance was very inviting, it felt like home. There was always fruit, cookies, refreshing water & greeted by a friendly face. Rooms where very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was always good with a variety items to choice from, but the running the breakfast was very unfriendly & unaccommodating( breakfast is scheduled to end at 9:30 by 9:15 most all items where removed ). Did have an issue with house keeping. My daughters sponge bob pillow was missing from the room, but was retrieved from lost & found the next day. Not sure how her pillow got out of our room when she used the night before. Just glad we got it back. If visiting D.C. hotel is located further than anticipating, it took 35 - 45 minutes to get there. Take toll road it is a lot quicker.
