Solo Traveler
Great location within driving distance to many great beaches including Miami Beach (a 45 minute drive). There are great restaraunts within walking distance. If breakfast is included in your room stay make sure you tell them, the food is great.

Overall, pleasant stay. Nice pool area with laundry and gym area right next to it. It was nice to jump in the pool while clothes were in the laundry without worrying. Rooms a little smaller than expected, but still comfortable.

We liked the hotel but were upset with the cockroach in the room. I think if we would have complained about the roach they might have apologized and sprayed the room, but we did not want the smell of spray in the room so we did not say anything to the staff.The staff was very friendly when we requested directions to a restaurant and to a mall. They printed out directions for us and gave us hints about how to best get there, and to get reservations, etc.The location of the hotel was good - lots of shopping nearby. ...

The Marriott was an excellent value. The layout of the room with a couch was very good. It seemed spacious. I liked the location and a room on the back away from Glades is probably a good place to stay. It could use a little sprucing up, for example, carpeting. All in all I would receommend and return.
