Hotel Guest Reviews of the Courtyard By Marriott Austin Downtown/Convention Center
Our hotel ratings and reviews are from real hotel guests. Priceline.com ensures that its reviews are guests-only by proactively sending hotel surveys to customers after they've completed their hotel stays. In the post-stay surveys, priceline.com hotel customers are asked a number of questions about their stay and the hotel. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best, the survey asks guests to rate their overall experience and specifically rate the hotel's cleanliness, staff and location. Priceline.com does not allow site visitors to post unsolicited hotel reviews.May 9, 2013

Very nice and clean hotel for the price. Rooms were a little small but enough for what we needed. The staff was not the friendliest and unnecessarily strict at times (i.e. warning us that we only get one noise complaint while checking in at 2pm???). Regardless, we had no issues and had a good time in Austin.

Great location in downtown Austin, right off of 4th street. Easy walk around downtown as well as to Rainey St.

There is a cab hub right outside the hotel, but much of what we wanted was within walking distance. Very much enjoyed the attached Starbucks each morning. Had never been to Austin before. Great artsy town! Would go back and stay at the same hotel without question! Our room was nice, clean and had a couch which pulled out to a bed. There was no mini-fridge which would have been nice. The room I received was made for someone with special physical needs so the shower got the bathroom floor a little wet, but the bathroom was nice and big! ...

The perfume worn by the lady at the front desk dominated the lobby air. Too bad it smelled nasty. The room was fine. Wish it had not been next to the ice machine, but that's better than by the elevator. Breakfast was good, but it was not included in the room price. I think it was $11.50 each. Wifi was free. The shampoo and conditioner were Paul Mitchell. Plenty of towels provided. The hair dryer was broken but they promptly replaced it. The next morning around 10 am we were waiting out front for the car. Some guy who had been standing there holding a croissant from the breakfast buffet puked in one of the large potted plants a couple yards away from us. That was nice. ...

The staff, location, and hotel in general was fabulous! I will definitely be staying here again. They were very friendly and met all of our needs. Only thing I did not like is that you have to pay extra to park in their garage even though you've already paid for the hotel and they do not tell you that until check-out. Other than that it was extremely worth the money and I will be back! ...
