It was okay.
I felt that we overpaid for the location. It wasn't that close to downtown at all. We wasted a lot of time on the road and felt like we didn't get to truly enjoy Charleston. We were also put in a handicap room which was a bit absurd.

If you're looking to spend a lot of time downtown, be prepared to drive a ways and deal with parking. I wish we could have stayed closer.

They didn't even provide water bottles in the room.

It's not a 3 star. The room I got was no different from what you get at a normal 2 star hotel.

Liked the staff. Competent, welcoming and friendly The public rooms were excellent. Our bedroom was great (with a balcony). Bathroom had some plumbing problems which we reported. It was somewhat difficult to get to-in a strange location off the highway.
There was no breakfast included.

This hotel was even nicer than we expected. Beautiful room and great location. Only issue was noisy neighbors yelling in the halls at 11:30 at night.
