The staff was the friendliest I've ever encountered. Everyone I saw asked how I was and if I needed anything. We had a paperwork snafu at the beginning that was resolved cheerfully. We asked for late checkout and the staff was extremely gracious.

The interior of the room was lovely. It was very clean.
We had driven approximately 400 miles and had another 350 to drive the next day. We wanted and needed a good sleep. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned was next to the elevator and an exit door. Beginning at 4:30

Every single staff member of this hotel went above and beyond to do something nice for us. Amazing.

I can honestly say this hotel had the nicest staff I have ever met at any hotel. Every time we interacted with a staff member, they did or said something that went above and beyond what we would have expected. I have stayed at 5-star luxury hotels who could learn a thing or two from these people. The desk clerk was kind enough to give us a room away from the elevators so the baby would not wake in the night. Also, when I asked if my room had a microwave and he said no, he immediately asked if I wanted one brought down. The restaurant staff went out of their way to get small pillows and a high chair for my 5-month-old. A gentleman from housekeeping asked us how our stay was and greeted us pleasantly. The hotel was immaculate. The fire pit area was gorgeous, though we didn't get to enjoy it thanks to the wee one! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. I prefer this hotel to the Hilton downtown and the Hilton Garden Inn. The other two hotels are also very good, but the staff at the Courtyard by Marriott was fabulous enough to make this the best hotel in the area. ...read more

At the pool, there could have been more routine check ups to keep it picked up from previous guests.
