The hotel was in a great location, very clean, and quite upscale. The room view of the intercoastal way was outstanding.
I feel the parking price was misleading. I thought it was $15/day, but instead was $29/day because it was overnight. Most travelers rent cars, so I'm not sure why it is not just built into the room.
It was a great hotel, perfect for visiting Fort Lauderdale. Direct access to the beach, a restaurant, and a bar outside are apart of this hotel. Checkin was fine. The only negative was there wasn't enough emphasis on the parking rates, and it really should just be built into the price.

Elevators were the poorest we've ever seen in a hotel. Out of 3 elevators, only 1 seemed to be working @ any given time. Very slow. They were very sporadic @ the floors they would/wouldn't stop @. I think they needed to have an over-haul!
The price for the rooms we booked through PRICELINE were excellent!! (for a Marriott Hotel), and for this prime location, right across from the Fort Lauderdale Beach. We had floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows in our room, over-looking the beach. Close to shopping & restaurants (Bubba Gumps next door, where we had our dinner that evening!)

The hotel clerk told us a cab for 5 people would not come at 6:00AM so she said we would have to take the hotel shuttle.
The clerk quoted us a price of $25 for 4 people and $8 for the extra person. I gave the driver $40 and he said I needed to give him a tip because the ride was $40. I gave him $48 and wrote a complaint to the Marriott.

The front desk staff was amazing -- pleasant and extremely helpful.
I wish that I had known about the second entrance (to the main blvd) sooner.
Clean, efficient, accessible to the beach and a variety of shops and restaurants. I would return.

It is across the street from the beach, that is both good and bad.
The swimming pool is in the shade after 1 pm, the sun deck is not close to the pool.
If you are a sun lover, it will disappoint you, but for all other purposes it is fine.
